Clockwork Heart

Set in a dark fantasy/steampunk Victorian Europe; the story follows the main character, a revered inventor who keeps a noble public appearance while secluding himself to his work. After a failed experiment, he is trapped in his own mind and is put up against a distorted abomination of his own insecurity.
